Cognizant Classic Information

As many of you know, the entrance to the Cognizant Classic off Championship Drive, between the 13 green and 14 tee, has been eliminated for this year's event. The nearest entry point will now be at the 15 tee, off Ryder Cup Boulevard, just north of the Eagleton entrance.

Event management acknowledges that this change may inconvenience some of the 663 Eagleton homeowners and their guests. However, it is part of their broader effort to reduce the number of access points to the course.

Your Championship POA Board of Directors, along with the PGA-POA Board of Governors, and the Members Club, requested that the PGA TOUR/Cognizant Classic reconsider and reopen this entry, but the request was denied. While we continue to advocate for a reversal, the likelihood diminishes as the event approaches.

Below is the Shuttle Information Sheet provided by the Cognizant Classic. Shuttle buses will pick up at each of the eight designated locations approximately every 30 minutes. The closest shuttle stop to Eagleton is at the main entrance on Ryder Cup Boulevard (Item 1g). For some, the stop at Avenue of the Masters and General Drive (Item 1c) may be more convenient.

We understand that this decision by the PGA TOUR may create challenges for many Eagleton residents and guests attending the event. While our efforts to reinstate the Championship Drive entrance were unsuccessful, we hope you'll still take advantage of the available shuttle options and enjoy the tournament. It's a great opportunity to watch world-class golf and support your favorite players.
