Burnsville Open House, June 15th

Station design concept for an Orange Line platform

Metro Transit will host an additional Orange Line public open house on Wednesday, June 15th from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Burnsville Transit Station, 100 E. Highway 13, Burnsville, MN 55337. The transit station is on the northeast corner of Highway 13 and Nicollet Avenue and is accessible by bus routes 421, 426, 444, 460 and 465

The meeting will focus on:

  • Planned route and station improvements;
  • Station design concepts;
  • Traffic impacts;
  • Area of study for historic and cultural resources;
  • Service improvements;
  • Environmental justice and social impacts; and 
  • Impacts on the built environment.

Public comments on the Draft Environmental Benefits & Impacts Document are now being collected along the corridor. Comments can be given in person at the Burnsville meeting, by email, or mailed. Comments will be accepted through Friday, July 1, 2016. All comments will be compiled and shared with the public at the end of the comment period.
