Items with a story to tell

Clothing can say a lot about a person and make a strong statement. MoAD has a rich collection of clothing, each with their own unique story to tell, about the wearer, the time and place and our social fabric.

One of these items is a pair of red shoes donated by Julie Bishop. The shoes, which are currently on display at MoAD, symbolise the powerful political statement a single item of clothing can make.
