Linked below is the December 2017 Domestic Tax Paid Estimate.

Below find a few key points provided by our Chief Economist, Michael Uhrich:

  • Domestic beer shipments declined by 8.0% in December or 3.7% on a selling-day adjusted basis.
  • Beer distributors reduced inventories by an average of 10% during the month of December.
  • U.S. domestic shipments ended 2017 down 2.2% - the largest percentage decrease in annual domestic beer shipment volume since 1954.
