The Great Beauty

Janus Films is bringing to the U.S. the dazzling Paolo Sorrentino film The Great Beauty, the Italian Oscar entry for best foreign-language film. This sumptuous contemporary look at Rome, starring Toni Servillo as a roguish writer who navigates its social circles, opens in New York on November 15, in Los Angeles on November 22, and will expand to other cities after that. The New York Times calls it “an outlandishly entertaining hallucination.”
