Yorke Peninsula Stars

Congratulations to all the 2012 Yorke Peninsula Tourism Awards winners and medallists.

 

150 people converged on the Ardrossan Town Hall to celebrate the Yorke Peninsula tourism industry, where 10 awards were presented to businesses and individuals judged to be the most outstanding in each category.


A further 21 entrants who achieved a high standard in their category were recognised with a gold, silver or bronze medal.


Peter Tucker won the prestigious Harry Dowling Award for an Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to the regional tourism industry in SA.

 

These awards lead into the State Awards, which has resulted in an impressive 15 nominations from the region.

 

SATIC were proud to be a partner with Yorke Peninsula Tourism.

Nominations are still open to recognise the extraordinary personal and professional achievement and contribution by an individual over many years to the South Australian tourism industry.
