We had a great meeting on May 21st! Representative Ted Yoho was our guest speaker. Pam Hess wrote an article about the meeting and what we hope to accomplish. I will include that article in this newsletter.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 11th. Chris Hall will be our guest speaker. He is a local preacher, husband to KrisAnne Hall; and always has a good topic to speak on.
It was mentioned at our meeting on the 21st that we would have another meeting/event on June 20th. This has been postponed because it is Father's Day weekend. We will update you as we schedule additional events.
We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except when we schedule special events) at the Taylor Building, 128 SW Birley Road, Lake City 32024. This is approximately 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley Road. For more information, call 386-935-0821.

HAD ENOUGH? by Pam Hess
Not one problem will be solved in Washington D.C.
In fact, every time the DC bureaucrats get involved
things get worse. The first change that needs to be
made is to change the leadership of both parties.
They are a party of big government and until they
can be FIRED not much can change. They won't
even bring a bill up for a vote. We are definitely in
a Constitutional Crisis. When the rule of laws is
broken the country is broken. So you say “what are
we going to do about it”?
If you ever want to see a change (for the better) We
the People are going to have to step up to the
plate. Think one person can't make a difference?
Think again. Congressman Ted Yoho was the guest
speaker at the North Central Florida Tea Party on
May 21, 2015. He had dropped by the April meeting
and challenged the 34 people in attendance to bring
5 people to the May meeting. We almost made our
challenge! We had about 150 people show up to
hear about the Vision for America. One person
invited one person who turned around and invited
one person. If it makes you feel better it is a
numbers game. Not every one will come but as you
see a lot of people did.
This same numbers game has been used by the
Democrats to help get people in office especially the
President. They go for the numbers. So when you
can't beat them you join them.
We will be having parties to educate, activate, and
motivate. We don't want any boring, stuffy
meetings. We are going to party....make it fun to
learn.
This is your mission. If you choose to accept it you
will need to get up and get out! It really won't be
hard....you just have to talk to people. And we are
going to help you do that! Your job as a soldier is to
get people to come to these meetings.
Who do you know? Make a list of friends, family,
and associates. Don't forget those people that you
come across every day. If they listen to main stream
media they do not know the truth.
All you have to do is share your concerns. We all
have different concerns. Mine would be what this
country will look like when they are grown. Will
they even know the same America I grew up in?
The national debt, immigration, an administration
the will not follow the Constitution, etc. There are
plenty to choose from; what makes you the
maddest?
We must organize the grass roots. There is
unlimited potential to release the power of We the
People. We will be scheduling more events in the near future. More information will be forth coming. But, for
now start talking to people. I challenge you to invite 10 people to come to the next party. The more the merrier!

Blueberry Festival Booth
We will have a booth at the Wellborn Blueberry Festival this Saturday, June 6th! We will have information about our group and other pertinent issues, we will be selling raffle tickets for our gun raffle, and meeting some new people! If you can help in the booth, even for an hour or so, please contact Sharon at 386-935-0821.
If you can sell raffle tickets, please let us know and we will get some books to you. If you know of a small business that will let us put a few books in their place of business, let us know. This is our main fund raiser for the year. It helps pay the expenses of the American Patrtiot News, buy the Constitutions for the Suwannee and Columbia County civics classes each year, and the other expenses incurred by our group. Do You Want to Know Where Your Meat is Grown and Processed?
House panel votes to repeal country-origin meat labeling law
Do you want to know where your beef, pork and chicken come from when you buy it at the store? I do! This is going to the full House for a vote. Congressman Ted Yoho voted yes in the House Agricultural Committee. Why not let him know how you feel about this? This is what happens when we get involved with "free trade agreements" Now our own consumers can't find out where our meat is raised! Please share this with anyone you think might be concerned about this. Someone on this House Committee made the comment that the American people were not concerned about having their meat labeled!

WASHINGTON — A House committee has voted to get rid of labels on packages of meat that say where the animals were born, raised and slaughtered.
The House Agriculture Committee voted 38-6 to repeal a “country-of-origin” labeling law for beef, pork and poultry Wednesday — just two days after the World Trade Organization ruled against parts of the law. The labels tell consumers what countries the meat is from: for example, “born in Canada, raised and slaughtered in the United States” or “born, raised and slaughtered in the United States.”
