The U.S. Senate Banking Committee oversees and authorizes U.S. financial contributions to the International Monetary Fund.  Ms. Chon led the Committee's negotiations to craft the law that currently governs U.S. policy and funding for the IMF.  She also advised on IMF and international finance policy while serving on the Treasury Department team for the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Project.  She is currently a Senior Fellow at The Atlantic Council, a Washington think tank that promotes US-European relations.  Prior to her public service, she structured sovereign debt transactions for European, US, and emerging market issuers at Citi/Salomon London and JP Morgan Chase New York.
