Reading: We will continue our reading skill Theme, and novel, Prince Caspian. Spelling: a, au, aw
Words: watch, want, small, halt, swamp, swam, auburn, audit, August, authority, pause, saucer, laundry, autumn, vault, flaunt, gauze, pawn, straw, yawn
Language: Continue Chapter 6 - clauses, subordinate conjunctions, and complex sentences
Math: Finish Chapter 5 - division; Chapter 5 Test on Wednesday, November 14 (no speed drill)
Science: Chapter 8 - changes in ecosystems
Social Studies: Chapter 15 test on Tuesday, November 13; complete Civil Rights projects in class

November 19 - Class Wars - each grade level will dress up with a different theme and the grade level with the highest percentage of participation wins bubble gum for November 20th and Spirit Dress for Monday, November 26th! The theme for 5th Grade is Patriotic. Let’s win an extra Spirit Dress day!
November 20 - Puberty Class @ 2:00 in the Chapel/Parlor
November 21-23 - Thanksgiving Break
