ERG’s Expert Seminar Series is proud to announce an upcoming event with Kelly Gallagher on Monday, July 29, 2013.

Across the country, reading comprehension and effective writing are on the forefront of literacy instruction and there is no better person than Kelly Gallagher to bring us up to date with best practices.

Kelly will share his latest thoughts and beliefs about literacy as well as strategies for deeper thinking and effective writing for students in fourth through twelfth grades. He will guide us through how to be teachers instead of simply information dispensers and how to use conversation and collaboration to support and deepen comprehension.

His work, five published texts, and four professional videos are benefiting teachers and students nationwide.  “Kelly helps me teach my classes everyday,” remarked Faye Staten, English Teacher at McMichael High School.

Don’t miss this opportunity to build your instructional toolkit and learn strategies for developing readers and writers who are successful with the Common Core Standards. Click on the link to access the full flyer and registration form.
