Celebrating Flag Day in Our Community

Flag Day, celebrated each year on June 14th, marks the anniversary of the adoption of our beloved "Stars and Stripes" by the Continental Congress in 1777 during the Revolutionary War. This special day honors the symbol of our nation and the values it represents.

In our neighborhood, Flag Day is embraced with great enthusiasm and patriotism. A heartfelt commendation goes out to the individuals who have beautifully adorned "Flag Island" and the area around the security gatehouse with miniature flags. Your efforts have brought a vibrant sense of pride and unity to our community.

We also extend our gratitude to the residents who have displayed the American flag in front of their homes. Your displays of the red, white, and blue are a testament to the collective spirit of our neighborhood and a tribute to the freedoms we cherish.

Let us all take a moment to appreciate the significance of Flag Day and the enduring symbol of the American flag that unites us all. Thank you to everyone who contributes to making our community a place of pride and patriotism.

Navigating Eagleton: A Homeowner’s Tip for Seamless Directions

Directing your visitors to your home in Eagleton can be a breeze — if you know the right trick! One of our thoughtful homeowners has shared a valuable tip to ensure that your visitors arrive at your doorstep without any hassle. Here's a simple, yet effective method to avoid the common GPS pitfalls and guarantee that your guests won't get lost.

The Issue: Many GPS systems, while generally reliable, have a tendency to direct visitors to the resident-only back gate of our community. This can be frustrating for both you and your guests, leading to unnecessary confusion and delays.

The Solution: To circumvent this issue, our clever homeowner suggests a two-step approach when giving directions to your home:

  1. First, provide the address of the Eagleton gatehouse:

    11 Championship Drive

This address will direct your visitors to the main entrance, where they will be greeted and guided appropriately.

  2. Then, give them your actual home address: Once they have reached the Eagleton gatehouse, they can easily proceed to your home using the directions provided by the friendly gatehouse staff or their GPS from that point.

By using this method, your guests will be sure to arrive via the main entrance, avoiding any restricted access points.

The Benefits:

  • No more confusion: Your guests will not be misdirected to the back gate, ensuring a smooth arrival.
  • Streamlined entry: The gatehouse can offer assistance and direct your guests correctly, making their visit pleasant from the start.

We hope this tip enhances your experience and the experiences of those visiting our lovely community. Share this advice with your neighbors and enjoy the ease it brings to navigating Eagleton.
