The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) is excited to be a provider of New York City’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)! 

What is SYEP?

It's the nation’s largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experience each summer. 

Why SYEP Matters at CPC?

We believe everyone should have the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to thrive. Last year alone, we empowered over 4,800 youth through SYEP.

By hiring young New Yorkers through SYEP, we are helping them:

• Build essential work readiness skills

• Explore career pathways

• Take important steps toward future-ready employment
