What's your top 10 seconds in music?

Tell us about one of your favourite songs via our Facebook or Twitter pages for the chance to win a new Kiko system.

Any song, any style.

That bit that makes your hair stand on end or forces you to jump about like a loony. The opening chords, the key change…the chorus you wait for religiously, anticipation building, ready to join in and belt it out.

Lyrics, basslines, the opening notes of the second movement, the epic guitar solo...those music moments in micro that give you goosebumps.

Tell us about it, share a link if you like – we've got two shiny new Kiko systems to give away.

To enter, post to our Facebook page here or just tweet @linnproducts with the hashtag #top10seconds

We'll pick the best one from each and announce the winners on 10th August via Facebook and Twitter (full terms and conditions).

For inspiration – or your amusement – read some of ours below.

#top10seconds

The opening of Walk on the Wild Side – the bass lines bom bommm-bommm boom before the doo-da-doo-da-doo’s come in gets me every time http://lin.mn/LmwB94 #top10seconds

Beethoven’s Ode To Joy, about 30 seconds in http://youtu.be/XFX8S9aAgvw  #top10seconds #hastobe

The bit in Arctic Monkey’s Still Take You Home – the instrumental up to 1 min 54 and the whole band giving it the da the dat-dat’s! Heard it live at the Apollo and that 10 seconds sums up rock and roll for me http://lin.mn/LmwtX6

The perfect intro to a perfect song – Otis Redding’s ‘It’s Too Late’ into Kanye West’s ‘Gone’. From blues to rap in 10 perfect seconds http://lin.mn/LmAuLd #top10seconds

It’s got to be the opening to Rachmaninov’s #2…goosebumps every time it starts: http://youtu.be/bAK2J05Vmhc #top10seconds #rach2

The way Dylan spits out NE-CE-SARRRRYYY in ‘Isis’ is easily my all-time favourite lyric. Game-changer. http://lin.mn/LydgXt
He said "Are you looking for something easy to catch ?"
Said "I got no money". He said "That ain't necessary"

OMG by The Streets. The anti-love song that turns beautifully in the space of 10 seconds at 2:32, where he finds himself on the inside looking out, not the outside looking in. The whole song flips on this moment, speeding up at slowing down at the same time:
I stand corrected I was pushing for the best I guess
I took one look at you and forgot the rest
But I’ve got what it takes and it won’t be wasted on fakes
