HINDS Announce Debut Album 'Leave Me Alone' Out Friday, January 8

“…Grungy, raw pop gems packed with attitude.” Noisey
“…effortless knack for crafting charming, infectiously ramshackle garage pop jams.” - Gorilla vs Bear
“The chillest four-piece in rock hail from Madrid, and write choruses so loose and lovely you’ll want to wear them in like a favorite pair of sneakers.” The FADER
"Their jangling, catchy garage rock is some of the most simply fun and addictive music we’ve heard in years, and their live show is like an invitation to join the party. Trust us, it’s fucking awesome.”
Pigeons & Planes

At a meteoric pace, HINDS have outgrown their origins within the Madrid D.I.Y. scene, launching onto the international stage on the back of a few undeniably captivating demo singles. Inviting them into the open arms of a greater audience on the stages of Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and Benicassim Festivals in recent months. Now, having mastered their raw and powerful sound HINDS announce their debut album ‘Leave Me Alone’ set for release January 8 on Pod via Inertia

Today the band released a live performance clip of album track and recently release single "Garden" as part of the VEVO Dscvr Ones To Watch for 2016.

Watch "Garden" live on VEVO DSCVR here.

Since rearing their heads last summer, praise has come from high places for HINDS. Among those to cave under their crushing wave of their fuzzed-out, infectious 60s garage pop were BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, NME, Guardian, Beats 1, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The FADER, Gorilla vs. Bear and many more. The addictive hooks, raw energy and unashamedly off-kilter guitar work make for a unique ride at times chilled, at times heart thumbing but habitually straight-up fun.

HINDS - Ana Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen – brought the show all the way around the world earlier in the year, when they performed a run of headline dates throughout Australia. Hitting Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, before the four-piece left.

In their wake their left hordes of new fans, left in awe by their weaving sun-kissed melodies, duelling vocals and endearing summer vibes. All of which will be offered in droves on ’Leave Me Alone’.

‘Leave Me Alone’ is out Friday, January 8 on Pod through Inertia. Digital pre-orders available now.

About HINDS

Since bursting onto the Madrid DIY scene last summer, HINDS - Ana Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen - have mastered a raw and playful sound all their own. With just a handful of released singles under their belt, Hinds have already earned early support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, NME, Guardian, Beats 1, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The FADER, Gorilla vs. Bear, and many more. Now with their eagerly awaited debut on the horizon, Hinds are firmly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts of the year and show no sign of slowing down.

Kicking things off with their new single “Garden,” Hinds take us on a badass rock & roll ride on their forthcoming debut full-length Leave Me Alone. Weaving sun-kissed, 60’s-inspired melodies, executed with a genius call-and-response between co-vocalists and band co-founders Perrote and Cosials, Hinds create the ultimate soundtrack to the best day ever - from start to finish - spent with your four best friends. In addition to previously released fan favorites including the band’s first-ever single “Bamboo,” “Castigadas En El Granero” - which translates in English to “Grounded In The Barn” - and the band’s first new song of 2015 “Chili Town,” Leave Me Alone only gets better with each song. Featuring bright surf-pop tune “San Diego,” the mixed-tempo “Fat Calmed Kiddos,” and a bitter ode to shitty boyfriends in “And I Will Send Your Flowers Back,” Leave Me Alone is guaranteed to bring the Mediterranean sun to you wherever you are in the world at any time of the year
