Call for expressions of interest in FM sound broadcasting licence

An Application has been received for the following FM broadcasting spectrum licence:

• Putaruru Reservoir (South Waikato District) 104.2 MHz, licence ID 208006, reserve price: $2,699.62 incl. GST.

Radio Spectrum Management is seeking expressions of interest in this commercial FM licence, closing 5pm on 29 November 2019.

Following this, a decision will be made regarding if the licence can be allocated by direct sale or by a competitive allocation process.

Fixed Service Band plan in 80 GHz has been updated

The 80 GHz Fixed Service Band plan has been updated with the addition of 500 MHz and 750 MHz channels to meet the demand of new fixed link radio equipment. These channels are now available for use in the Register of Radio Frequencies. This update will be published in the next edition of PIB22.
