This Sunday, let's support Ryan...
|

|
12-year-old cancer survivor, Ryan Lane-Ellis, has been named Boaky's Buddy and after training with the Port Adelaide Football Club on Tuesday will run out with the boys on Sunday against the Gold Coast.
Ryan first met Travis Boak on his first day in hospital when he was diagnosed with Leukaemia at the age of four, back in April 2011. The huge football fan even insisted on taking his footy boots with him to the hospital when the ambulance first arrived at his home in the Barossa Valley.
Today, Ryan is six years cancer-free; he loves playing footy for the Tanunda Football Club; and aspires to be an AFL player, just like his hero Travis Boak.
Make sure you come along and cheer Ryan on!
As the Game Day Charity Partner, the Childhood Cancer Association will also be onsite selling merchandise and taking donations to support more than 400 local families battling childhood cancer. Please give generously.

THANK YOU!
Do you remember learning about the early intervention oncology playgroup in the last newsletter?
The cost to provide these special early education sessions is high, that's why we asked for your help to raise $10,000.
We're pleased to report that with your support, we've almost reached our target and have raised $8,248.
Thanks to people like you, we can ensure a place for all young children with cancer to attend each week.
It's not too late to give! Thank you.
