Recipe Idea

Greek Tzatziki + Pita Chips

Ingredients
200g Greek yoghurt
1 Lebanese cucumber, grated
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
1 large pita/Lebanese bread
Spray olive oil
Ground paprika
Dried oregano

 

Method
1. To make the Greek tzatziki, place the Greek yoghurt in a small mixing bowl.
2. Squeeze out and discard any liquid from the grated cucumber. 
3. Add the cucumber to the bowl, along with the crushed garlic, lemon juice and finely chopped dill. 
4. Mix well to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. 
5. To make the pita chips, first preheat oven to 160°C. Line a large tray with baking paper. 
6. Cut the pita/Lebanese bread into triangles or wedges. Place onto the prepared baking tray and spray with oil. 
7. Sprinkle with ground paprika and dried oregano. Press the seasonings into the bread to help it stick. 
8. Bake for 10 minutes or until crunchy.
9. Serve the cooked pita chips with the prepared Greek tzatziki.

Sleep

Just like eating, drinking or breathing, sleep is an essential part of life. When we are asleep our brain and body are active and doing important things like organizing nerve cells, regulating hormones, repairing cells and clearing out toxins. However, nowadays with our ever increasingly busy lives, a lot of people often complain of feeling tired and not rested.

Here are some ways for you to get a better night's sleep:
1. Create a nighttime routine and comfortable bedroom environment.
2. Reduce blue light exposure from devices 2-hours before bed.
3. Avoid caffeine late in the day.
4. Be consious of your alcohol consumption at night.
5. Try to sleep and wake at consistent times.
