• Bible: The Temple, Glorifying God, Thanksgiving; story of David
• Verse:  Psalm 106:1 “Praise the Lord.  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
• Reading: Essential Question: What kinds of plants and animals would you find in the ocean?
• Spelling & Phonics-“th” words
• Words to Know: blue, cold, far, little, live, their, water, where
• Comprehension Skills & Strategies: Author’s purpose; Analyzing/Evaluating
• Writing: Informative Writing
• Vocabulary Strategies: Classifying and categorizing words
• Math: Addition/Subtraction facts to 6 (practice flashcards at home); Chapter 8: Time and Calendars: writing time to the hour and half-hour; parts of a calendar; identify months & days of the week

Please remember to send a jacket when the days are cooler.  In the classroom, they can wear any navy blue jacket, sweatshirt or sweater.

• November 28: Playground fundraiser at the Chick-fil-a in Fayetteville across from the NWA Mall and the one on Walnut in Rogers.

• December 7: All school Christmas Chapel
