It is an understatement to say that we all want some sense of normalcy to return to our lives and the FCMA community as quickly as possible, and we recognize that the past few weeks have been far from that.  Therefore, as we continue to troubleshoot with Canvas and MiStar, we have decided to temporarily go back to using Google Classroom as our educational platform.  While the initial goal was to avoid switching from multiple platforms to the LMS (learning management system), Canvas, we realize that we can no longer get around this momentary change.  Therefore, starting this week, remote learners will log into Google Classroom for their lessons and assignments.  Please be sure to check your email for additional information, from your child’s classroom teacher, regarding the use of Google Classroom.

Michael Dorer, Montessori Storyteller

This summer FCMA staff had the honor of training with seasoned Montessorian, Michael Dorer.  During this time Dr. Dorer shared some of his stories with us which serve as a vehicle for teaching the most important, foundational Montessori lessons and concepts.
