4th Grade eNews

We are looking forward to meeting grandparents next Friday! Be sure to invite your family as this is a special day for all students. Remember, we will have early dismissal about 11am and no Extended Care.

Next Week

Bible - We will discuss the omnipotence of God. Our verse quiz will be given on Thursday due to early dismissal on Friday.
Verse - Psalm 147:5 Our Lord is great, vast in power; His understanding is infinite.
Spelling – Our spelling Test will be given on Thursday due to early dismissal on Friday - Unit 6: campus, crust, cash, cramp, crunch, crack, cake, crab, clock, cape, scrub, cancel, ceiling, receive, cell, cent, deceit, brace, pencil, rice
Language – Test 3 on Wednesday, September 26 - Start Chapter 4: pronouns.
Math – Adding & Subtracting Whole Numbers and Decimals - Cumulative Test on October 2.
Science – Continuing Chapter 2 - Insects and Spiders
Social Studies – Continuing Chapter 2 - European Exploration and Settlement.
Reading - Continuing Because of Winn Dixie and our study of character.

October 4th – Cookie Dough delivery in SEC foyer.
October 12th – Homecoming Party and Pep Rally - we will be late to carlines due to the parade.
October 15th – Parent/Teacher conferences - NO SCHOOL for students!
