Highlight: YURT Tour

The YURT (YURT Ultimate Reality Theatre) is Brown's newest virtual reality environment. With head and body-tracking, users control a virtual world shown on a room-sized, 100 million-pixel stereo display that completely surrounds them. You have to experience this unique instrument to truly understand and appreciate it—so come take a tour and discover potential applications for your research!

For more information on the YURT, check out this Boston Globe article. Please RSVP to Kate_Duggan@brown.edu if you are interested in the tour as space is limited! (If you're not free 9/18 but still interested, e-mail Kate to see about arranging an alternate time.)
