Smiley Monroe is very happy to announce that on 14th November 2012 we officially celebrated our 1 year anniversary in India.
Trading as Smiley Monroe Rubber & Allied Products (India) Private Ltd, our new production facility is based in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, where we are beginning to manufacture Endless conveyor belts for customers in the India construction market - in addition to the conveyor belts and cut rubber parts VMI support we provide to Terex at their Hosur facilty.

Conducted annually in line with our ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System, we apologise for delaying our Customer Satisfaction Survey, to which we'll be emailing you a link in the second half of February.
We do hope you'll be able to take a couple of minutes to complete our short online survey, which will be easy to submit, as 2011's Survey had some compatibility issues.
Every completed survey submitted will be automatically entered into our free prize to draw to win a new Apple iPad Mini.

LUCKY NUMBER 13!

Congratulations to 13 of our Site Service Team, all of whom have just passed Working at Heights training, provided by Belfast based 'Safe First NI' Health & Safety Consultants.
This combined safety course covered:
· Mobile elevated working platforms (MEWPs)
· Aluminium scaffolding towers
· Ladder appreciation
· Safety harness appreciation
· Abrasive wheels
Each module required course work and practical hands on experience with each item of equipment, finishing with a written examination.
Raising the Standard
Smiley Monroe are committed to actively promoting and achieving a high standard of health & safety management and performance throughout all our operations and we are accredited with OHSAS 18001:2007, the gold standard for H&S Management.

GOING GREEN IN 2013
|
|
|
We're delighted to announce that our new custom designed industrial shredder has been successfully installed and commissioned, with all operators having now gone through work procedure and risk assessment training. The first phase of the waste rubber shredding process commenced earlier this month and thanks again to Gareth Campbell (R&D Engineer) for successfully managing this innovative project.
