We hope you are working on your Valentine boxes! We are looking forward to a great Valentine’s Day!

• Bible – We are continuing to learn about Daniel. This week our focus will be Daniel 3.
• Verse - Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”
• Reading – We will read a humorous fiction story this week entitled “The Signmaker’s Assistant.” Our skills will be Point of View and Text and Graphic Features.
• Spelling – Words with ar - car   dark   arm   star   park   yard   party   hard   farm   start   part   spark   art   jar   carpet   apartment
• Grammar – Commas in dates and places
• Math – Continuing multiplication, word problems with money, multi-step word problems, and money problems with renaming and not renaming

• February 14 – Valentine Day Party – 2:30 p.m.
• February 19 – NO SCHOOL – PRESIDENT’S DAY!
• March 2 – Morning with mom & Art Fair @7:00 a.m. in Fellowship Gym
• March 7 – Spring Pictures – free dress day for pictures
• March 19-23 – NO SCHOOL – SPRING BREAK
• April 9-13 – This will be the week of TN3 testing – we will test beginning at 8:15 a.m. until lunch time at 11:00 a.m.  Please do not schedule any doctor or dentist appointments during this week if at all possible. We do not make up tests.
