Wow! We can hardly believe that it is November! Next week, we will begin our unit on the First Thanksgiving. We love teaching the children how God was intricately involved in this part of our history. We also want to focus on being thankful for our many blessings. Each teacher is so thankful for the children we teach and for the parents! Thank you for sending your child to Shiloh and allowing us to share part of our days with your child!
On November 21, our PreK classes will visit the Maples Assisted Living. Visiting, blessing, encouraging, and providing small gifts to the sweet people there are ways we can make our chosen ministry project tangible and real for our kiddos. The children will sing several songs to the “grandmas and grandpas” at the Maples. We would like to bless the residents with small needed items – lap size fleece blankets, knit gloves, no slip socks, warm scarves, shawls/wraps. If you would like to provide one of these, please send the gift to school with your child by Tuesday, November 19. We appreciate your support!
The 1st Annual Elementary Christmas Ornament Fundraiser is going on now! Because of the generosity of a Shiloh Family, 100% of the profit from the proceeds will go toward 27 new laptops for the Elementary Computer Lab.
Five beautiful clear acrylic designs are available and are $15 each. Order forms are available in the Elementary office, and are due by November 15. Orders will be delivered to the school on December 6.
