As the pandemic persists, our multilingual teams have been working hard and continuing to support our clients' requirements. Some of the team have been busy at various ports covering renewable wind projects in Scandinavia where they were lucky enough to experience the Northern Lights and others have arranged multimodal movements for oversized cargo across the globe.
ALS is also pleased to share that we have further strengthened our team in the UK to advise on customs clearance services in-house and show how we provide innovative solutions for construction equipment moves.
In our Summer newsletter we celebrate: ALS anniversaries as 40 colleagues commemorate work milestones, long standing partnerships (Komatsu news story in Italian), Elevon's 1st birthday, Italy & the UK's ISO accreditation, look at movements for the manufacturing sector - castings to Germany, John Deere agricultural moves, Volvo construction equipment shipment, 51T compressors and project cargo weighing 815 Tonnes transported to Russia from various countries (story in Russian and English), introduce our own G7 senior management team and our in house native Russian expert, talk about pontoons to Germany, plantrooms to France and Caterpillar scissor lifts to Mexico.

54 trucks containing 815 Tonnes of cargo from various countries to Russia were organised by ALS' in house Russian native speaker

AGRICULTURE
ALS cover transportation of a range of heavy equipment. This particular movement was a Carrot Harvester which was moved from Ireland to the UK and recently a John Deere machine to the USA.
MANUFACTURING
The team in Germany organised the safe delivery of 2 heavy castings
INDUSTRIAL MOVE TO RUSSIA
Low bed trailers were organised by the UK office for the transportation of two 51 ton compressors destined for Russia.
CONSTRUCTION
This transportation of a Volvo L180D was from Ensdorf, Germany to the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium.
PLANTROOMS
A further 16 plantroom movements have been carried out, this time the transportation was from the UK to Paris, France.
LONG & HEAVY
This collection of 3 large Pontoons from Rostock was organised by ALS Germany after work was completed on a lake project.
Striving for continuous improvement - ISO 9001:2015 for Italy & UK
The team in Italy are proud to have been accredited with the International Organisation Standardisation for Quality Management.
Recertification has also been achieved by the UK personnel.
MEXICO
The Moerdijk operations team moved 2 large Caterpillar scissor lift machines and 3 boilers by road in Mexico.
