InterNational Downshifting Week

Did you know that Saturday 23rd April is the start of InterNational Downshifting Week?

Founded by friend of Make Hay, author, journalist and sustainable living chick Tracey Smith, Downshifting is all about consuming less and embracing life more.

Tracey is on tour right now spreading the word of Downshifting and visiting various folks around the UK who have taken the steps towards simpler green living. She may even stop off here in Nottingham!

So why not check it out and maybe take part in this year's featured event, the community blanket project? I've started making my squares already!
