Kevin Tse Promoted to Deputy Director of Education and Career Services
We are excited to announce that Kevin Tse has been promoted to Deputy Director of Education and Career Services. In this role, Kevin will manage CPC’s youth services and workforce development programs that serve over 6,200 New Yorkers each year.

CPCHAP Welcomes Chief Operating Officer, John Sullivan
On June 27 2018, the Chinese-American Planning Council Home Attendant Program, Inc. (CPCHAP), a subsidiary of CPC, announced that John Sullivan has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer.
CPC receives $5,000 MassMutual Foundation Grant
On July 25, 2018, CPC received a $5,000 grant from the MassMutual Foundation as part of a national Community Service Award (CSA) program. CPC is one of twenty-two organizations nationally to receive an award.
Youth of CPC's Project Reach Host International Leaders in LGBT Work
CPC's Project Reach, a youth- and adult-run multiracial, multi-gender organization, hosted 12 leaders from around the world last week to discuss the varied experiences of LGBTGNC/Intersex people in their countries. The group was part of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
Adult Literacy Program Explores Lower Manhattan
The intermediate-level classes of our Adult Literacy Program visited sites in Lower Manhattan to expand the students’ understanding of New York City and explore new and different neighborhoods outside of Chinatown. Registration for ESOL/Civics classes is open for the fall.
The Genders Are Coming! CPC Project Reach in the Pride March!
In a diverse contingent of over 30 young people, CPC's Project Reach presented the wide range of "genders" that make up the transgender and gender non-conforming community.
Young Adult Internship Program Hosts Alumni Reunion Night
CPC's Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) hosted an Alumni Reunion Night on June 21st at DCTV (Downtown Community Television Center) in Manhattan.

WLIW21 started the online video series, "Chinese Americans of New York & New Jersey." CPC Queens Early Childhood Center Director, Lois Lee, shared her family's and CPC's story and impact on NYC history.
