Two out of every three spinal sports injuries are a result of a diving accident caused by people diving into shallow pools, rivers or lakes. According to Peter Lennarson, MD, brain and spine surgeon at The Nebraska Medical Center, diving accidents are very serious and can cause life-changing injuries. Finding a Cure for Childhood Cancer

Did you know that cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada? The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancer and give survivors long and healthy lives. Find out why Jordan and Paul, employees at The Nebraska Medical Center, chose to show their support for pediatric cancer research by shaving their heads and raising more than $6,500 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
