Welcome to Alan Blaustein Photography.

It would be my pleasure for you and your team to experience my unique and inviting approach to a simple and naturally illuminated style of commercial and fine art photography.

I am showcasing a wide variety of new projects and images from Venice, Paris, Japan and the Hudson Valley as well as a variety of Coastal locations. The new projects are now available for publishing, image licensing, wall decor and stock photography. Also featured are recent Residential Architecture and Commercial Photography projects.

Italia 2017 calendar release

Venezia 2017 calendar & publications

The Italia 2017 collection is a Brushdance Publications wall calendar release. The Italia 2017 calendar project features black & white meticulously hand painted photographs. Also debuting are images from an upcoming Venetian editorial publication and wall decor project.

Heavy rain storms, high tides, flooding and freezing temperatures in Venezia provided a dramatic and mysterious mood that created a perfect setting and feel for the photography project. Highlights include new black & white and color photography from my recent Italian photography excursions. Captured are classic Italian lifestyle vignettes of cafes, splendid architecture, and rural vistas. For more Italian images view Caffe Italiano and Italia in Color.

Paris 2017

The Paris 2017 photography collection showcases classic Parisian architecture, landmarks, bistros, cafes, parks and gardens. The series was phographed both in color and black & white utilizing film with a large format panoramic camera. The Japan 2017 photography collection features traditional Japanese architecture, still life and landscape images from the island of Hokkaido Japan. For more Japan images view Sapporo Cafe and Japan Archives.

Coastal

The recent Coastal and Seaside image selections were created for a hospitality wall decor project. Photgraphing during the dawn hours and utilizing the soft lighting helped me to create images with a timeless, tranquil dreamy mood. The Hudson Valley Dahlias project was photgraphed in New York for a Dahlia farm specializing in hybrid and unique Dahlia species. For more floral images please view the Botanical Collection and Floral Archive.

Most images are available in a variety of styles and formats: panoramic, rectangular, square and vertical. Image appearance can be in color, sepia tone and black & white tonalities. Please contact us for image licensing, special publishing needs and limited editon wall decor prints.
