New features
WeOS has in version 4.20.0 been extended with the following new features. See the Release Notes (available at the download page) for detailed information about corrected errors.
• SSL-VPN capacity – the limit for number of SSL-VPN tunnels is now configurable
• Possibility to bind SSL-VPN clients to a specific IP address
• Horseshoe topology – FRNT together with ring coupling can now be used in applications where it is not feasible to close the sub-ring, i.e. find a divergent way back
Horseshoe topology
With Horseshoe topology it is possible to connect one or more open FRNT rings to a super-ring using ring coupling. An open FRNT ring does not have a connection specific connection between the end notes. Only one FRNT ring port is required in each of the end nodes. The picture below gives an example of an application with Horseshoe topology.
