CORRECTION - Meeting Dates
Beginning in December we will go back to our regularly scheduled meetings on the SECOND THURSDAY of each month (thanks to Toby and Kathy for getting me straight on this!) Our next meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Jackie Taylor Building.
PLANNING MEETING -
we are holding a planning meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19th at Ray's Deli, located on the Branford Hwy across from the Fairgrounds. We are looking for ideas on what we should do as an organization, speakers or topics that we need to schedule, and anything else that will be beneficial for us to continue to be a strong, active group in this area. Please come if you would like to be on the Board, would like to head up a committee or have ideas for our group! Please let us know if you can attend this meeting so that we can have a large enough room reserved. Call John L. at 386-935-1705, Sharon 386-935-0821, or email me at shiggins@windstream.net

How does the average person perceive the Tea Party?
The North Central Florida Tea Party received a card recently. I am typing the message below. The only return address says Jacksonville Beach; if there was more I think I would have written back.
So Sorry for your recent Loss - You have 4 more years to get over it 11-06-12 A date to remember
Do you think that the average person feels this way about the Tea Party? (that we were just here to get President Obama out of office?) I have been accused of this many times and my answer has always been that if that was what I was worried about I would have joined the Republican Party and worked toward that end. I think many of us in the Tea Party movement feel that both parties have let us down and there isn't a way to fix things within the parties (see the next article). I wrote a letter to the editor several months ago and am asking Samantha to put it on our blog if you would care to read it. Please comment and let us know why you are a
member of the Tea Party.

A New Movement? GOP to NPA
J C Hall (Chris) is starting a new movement!
Calling on Republicans in Florida to change their voter registration to NPA (non-party affiliated). The same consultants and power-hungry elites will continue to do the same thing they have done for the last 2 elections and your continued membership only encourages their behavior. We cannot change America with this same group of people. Come out from among them and be ye separate. Go to your supervisor of elections this week, go NPA, come out of the elephant herd and be a patriot! There is a Facebook page set up, go to:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/GopToNpa to get more information.
