U.S News & World Report Ranks Fox Undergraduate RMI Program in Top 5

U.S. News & World ReportIn its 2007 rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked the undergraduate Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program of Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management the fifth-best program in the nation. David Cummins

David CumminsDr. J. David Cummins joins The Fox School of Business as the Joseph E. Boettner Chair of Risk Management, Insurance and Financial Institutions. He will also serve as the Director of the Advanta Center for Research in Financial Institutions and as a member of the Fox Research Roundtable.

Prior to joining The Fox School, Dr. Cummins was the Harry J. Loman Professor of Insurance and Risk Management and the Executive Director of the S.S. Huebner Foundation at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for more than three decades. Read More...

Temple University’s Risk, Insurance & Healthcare Management department welcomed a new faculty member at the start of the spring 2007 semester. Sigma Chapter Alumni Basketball Game – January 20, 2007

The Sigma Chapter held its annual Alumni Basketball Game on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2:00PM. The Owls hosted Rhode Island at the Liacouras Center. Although Temple lost the contest, a good time was had by all in attendance, which included alumni, faculty, and members. Food and refreshments were served in the Fox Business School private box. The event was a huge success, and started at 1:00PM in the Sigma Chapter office where chips, pretzels, and refreshments were available for pre-game.

There were 17 alumni in attendance at the basketball game. Alumni in attendance were as follows: Christian Aaronson (2003), Mary Aaronson (2004), Imtiaz Alam (2006), Jim Anderson (2004), Jonathan Backlund (2006), Sam Codispoti (2003), John Dormuth (1993), Dan Dotzert (2006), Matt Egger (2005), Matt Hansen (2006), Jason Kaminski (2004), Cindy Li (2005), Melissa Ogg (2003), Sohan Patel (2005), Noelle Salamone (2005), Ivan Torres (2004), and Denis Vorobyev (2006).
