New Staff

Maggie Pagliarulo

We are thrilled to welcome Maggie Pagliarulo to our team to help with LAMDA examinations training!

Maggie is highly experienced in the theatre industry and has trained under famous actors and dance trainers, such as Joanne Stoyer from West Side Story and Iver Megido.

During her career she has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and performed on television. For 30 years, she has been the country's most successful LAMDA teacher; many of her pupils gaining Gold medals with distinction in all areas of the syllabus. Her mentoring and training has fully prepared children for their auditions at leading Performing Arts and Private schools, and she is fully qualified to examine LAMDA exams. She says:

“Nurturing children's talent is a forte of mine and making each individual child find and develop their uniqueness, in order to help grow their confidence.”

With Maggie as part of the team, we can now offer a huge range of LAMDA exams. Please find out more on the LAMDA exam page.

Rachel Dussek

We are very excited to welcome Rachel Dussek, who will be joining our private singing team.

Rachel trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and is a singer, actor and musician. Before crossing over into Musical Theatre, Rachel trained in classical singing and has performed in operas and choirs across London, as well as giving solo recitals.

Also an accomplished instrumentalist (clarinet, violin, piano), Rachel has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, St John Smith Square, Southwark Cathedral, and venues across Europe.

Performance credits include Babe Williams in The Pajama Game, Laurey Williams in Oklahoma, Maria in the Sound of Music, The Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, and ensemble roles in Cabaret, Rent, and La Bohème. She has over 10 years' teaching experience and has worked peripatetically in schools for 5 years. She currently teaches singing one-to-one on the Urdang Accelerate course. She has previously studied with Mary King, Lydia Easton and Sara Reynolds, all of whom have strengthened Rachel's belief in the importance of combining solid technique with expression, communication, and artistry.

Perform at the Lord Mayor's Show!

The Lord Mayor's Show is a medieval pageant that will take place in central London, celebrating the election of the new Lord Mayor. This outdoor procession will take place on Saturday 10 November and the theme this year is 'Careers of the Future - 2050'.

We have been approached to represent a recruitment company called ‘Blenheim Chalcot’ at the parade. Each child will have a costume made especially for them to represent careers of the future. These costumes will be made by the same designers from Strictly Come Dancing - have a sneak peek at the designs

We will be holding auditions in mid-September and will send over more information in due course.
