The 2016 Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedca, Inc. (BIVI) pre-AASV seminar, held Feb. 26 prior to the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) Annual Meeting, followed the theme of “Start Healthy. End Strong – Learning from Outside the Pen.” The event featured experts from across animal agriculture, sharing their knowledge and learnings with swine practitioners. Following the seminar, attendees were able to “Celebrate in the Pig Easy!” From a second line parade (complete with marching band!) down the streets of New Orleans, to magicians, jugglers, caricature artists and a Zydeco band – we definitely lived the New Orleans motto of “Let the good times roll!”.
