It is getting closer to the big day!  We have been reading Christmas books and doing Christmas crafts this week.  We went to an all-school chapel today and saw the Grinch!  And who would know that it was Mrs. Foley dressed up!

• Show and tell: We will skip show and tell this week.
• Bible: We will continue the life of Christ and His ministries.
• Memory Verse: Luke 2:52  “And Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and men.”
• Reading: Phonics lessons on the soft /th/ sound and the sound /qu/ makes. Continue reading at home.  It makes a big difference in fluency and memory of words.
• Math: The 90 family, addition facts of 4, counting skills to 100.

• December 18 - Wear a Christmas sweater, t-shirt or sweatshirt and bring a dollar for missions.  Christmas parties are in the classrooms at 12:15.  No parents and no extended care.  There will be a bus going back to PH leaving at 1:00.  Teachers will walk the students to carline at 12:45 for pickup. 
• The second nine weeks report will be given out either Thursday or Friday.  Be sure and look for it in your child’s folder or backpack.
• Always remember to send a water bottle and a jacket.  We’ve been blessed with warm weather this week, but it won’t stay long.
