![]() We would like to thank all of you for the wonderful tokens of appreciation that were presented to us this week. We were taken aback by your generosity. It is a great feeling to be acknowledged for what we do on a daily basis, but we have to admit that it is also because of you that we enjoy coming in to work each day. The quick hellos in the morning, brief conversations in the hallway, and the smiles on the children’s faces each day, are just a few of the things that make what we do worthwhile. So thank you for making our jobs such a joy. ![]() A wedding ring was found on school grounds on the Herbert side. ![]() Hello FCMA Family, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for coming out to the Art and Music Showcase last Saturday and making it our most successful fundraising event ever ! :) We couldn't have done it without all of the donations, labor, and support from our amazing volunteers and team members. My friends and family who came to the event commented on the palpable sense of community that surrounded the event. I could not have been more proud of our students and the artwork / musical performances that they displayed at the event. You are all truly inspiring. I will be hosting a local art exploration camp entitled Something Hidden Here, June 18th-22nd from 9am-1pm each day. If your student/students might be interested in furthering their creative abilities over the summer, please email me at michaelchabot@choiceschools.com . Please include the grade level your student/students will be entering next year
so that I can see what age groups to prepare for and if a second session may be necessary. The first session will be held at Olive's Bloombox in Ferndale and sign up/cost info will be emailed to those who have reponded. If June 18th-22nd does not work for you, please include a week and city that would work better for you in your email. Maria Montessori encouraged parents to follow the young child rather than carry him - watching his joy as he discovers pebbles, puddles, and small creatures; and goes up and down little hills, climbs rocks, or rolls in the grass." ![]()
