Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.
Support our essential programming and our communities

Dear Friend,

It is International Workers' Day, also known as May Day!
We want to thank and acknowledge all the essential workers for their commitment and all the work that they do during this crucial time including everyone in the human services sector.

Today also marks the first day of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and also CPC's Birthday month.

Throughout the entire duration of the month, CPC will be participating in Give In May, a national campaign to support organizations serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

Fight for Our Essential Services for Children and Families

With the current pandemic and the future unclear, funding for our services is at risk. The funds raised during this campaign will help us to continue critical services that our children, seniors, and families need most right now.

Some of the ways CPC continues to serve our community are by:

  • Delivering and distributing meals and supplies to seniors.
  • Providing the most up-to-date information and resources in languages that our communities know through the Chinese radio and print announcements.
  • Continuing essential in-person home health care and residential programs like our affordable housing, senior housing, and housing for developmentally disabled.
  • Providing a place where the children of front-line workers can be safely cared for while their parents continue to serve the city in this time of need through CPC's Regional Enrichment Center (REC) at our Little Star Early Childhood Center.

Support the AAPI Community and Make your Donation Today

It is now more important than ever for us to come together and provide the support and compassion to the ones who need it most.

Please consider supporting CPC's efforts to Advance Our Community and help us spread the word and encourage your friends and family to give back to our communities in need.

Thank you for your support and commitment to supporting essential human services. You are the foundation that gives strength to our low-income, Asian American, and immigrant families of New York City.

In hope and solidarity,

Wayne Ho
President & CEO
