We will begin a unit on Arkansas History and will work on this for the next two weeks.
Upcoming Week
Bible – We will continue a study on Peter. This week, we will focus on Acts 10. Our memory verse is: I John 3:23 “Now this is His command: that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another as He commanded us.”
Reading – Our story will be “The Mysterious Tadpole” and our target skill is Story Structure.
Spelling – Words with oo (ew, oo, ou) root crew spoon few bloom grew room you stew boost scoop flew zoo noon shampoo balloon
Grammar – Contractions
Math – Along with review of other skills, we will begin a unit on Metric Measurement
Important Dates
May – Our Ministry Project for May is to bring in pop tabs for Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Springdale.
May 4th – Morning Arrival will be at 24-7 building. Traffic flow will be from Next Level building (by the World playground) to the exit behind the football stadium. There will be a Mayor’s breakfast at our campus on this day so for this day we are changing the morning arrival.
May 5th – Flip Flop Day for $1.00 donation
May 11th – Cinderella @ 6:30 p.m. Crosschurch Springdale Worship Center - Tickets are on sale now for $5.00
May 12th – Cinderella @ 7:00 p.m. Crosschurch Springdale Worship Center - Tickets are on sale now for $5.00
May 19th – School Holiday – NO SCHOOL
May 25th – Awards Assembly 9:00 in Worship Center. Dismissal immediately following the assembly. NO EXTENDED CARE/NO BUS
