Sheridan Award Winners

Congratulations to the recipients of the Harriet W. Sheridan Award for Distinguished Contribution to Teaching and Learning! The Sheridan Center is pleased to announce the 2015 winners of the Harriet W. Sheridan Award for Distinguished Contribution to Teaching and Learning, Jane Sokolosky (Senior Lecturer in German Studies) & Paul Phillips (Senior Lecturer in Music).

Members of the Brown community are invited to honor the recipients of the University awards for Teaching at the Awards Ceremony. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of faculty and graduate students at this university-wide reception and ceremony.

Certificate Reception

Open house for Certificate Program recipients. Certificates will be available for pick up. Light refreshments will be served.  Please register if you plan on joining us for the open house.  If you are just picking up your certificate, no need to register.

Preparing for an Academic Job Search in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Led by Sheridan Center Associate Director Jessica Metzler, this workshop will provide an overview of the academic hiring process in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Participants will evaluate personal career goals, learn where to find academic jobs, and discuss how to prepare for an academic job search.
