Click here Climate Action Muskoka UpdateSeptember 24, 2020GLOBAL DAY OF CLIMATE ACTION — ONE YEAR OF CLIMATE STRIKESJoin us in whatever way you feel safe; tomorrow (September 25) for a Fridays for Future Global Day of Action. It's also the first anniversary of our weekly climate strikes in Huntsville and Bracebridge. They've been happening every Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, in Huntsville in front of Town Hall at 37 Main Street East, and in Bracebridge at Memorial Park. In the midst of the pandemic we moved to digital and pop-up strikes. Pandemic measures — physical distancing, no more than 25 can gatherWe ask that everyone observe physical distancing guidelines and stay two metres apart. Feel free to bring a lawn chair to ensure physical distancing. With the pandemic's second wave, note also that the number who can gather publicly has recently been capped at 25. If there are close to 25 people at your climate strike location, please take your signs and march on a nearby street to continue to raise awareness while staying safe and respecting pandemic safety measures. Don't forget to post on social! Anything and everything you're able to do to continue to raise awareness about the urgency of climate action helps! Thank you! #climatestrike #socialdistance #fridaysforfuture #ajustrecovery #KudosToYou #MuskokaCares #beepbeep!
