Key Event 

Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Reception

Co-hosted by CPC in partnership with the NYS Asian Pacific American Task Force, and over 40 partner organizations, this reception brings together advocates and leaders from across New York and beyond. We will highlight key public policy priorities for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, and celebrate unity and diversity.

1. Federal Fault Lines, Community Front Lines: Securing New York and Puerto Rico’s Workforce Futures

CPC will join an extraordinary group of frontline leaders to discuss a critical question: How does federal disinvestment threaten the stability of human services and workforce systems in both New York and Puerto Rico? This panel will outline the strategies local leaders are advancing and the collective action needed to secure equitable futures, especially for our human services workers.

2. Reclaiming the Algorithm: Community Power in Data and AI 
Date: November 6th, 2025
Time: 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM
Location: Flamingo B (2nd Floor)

Join CPC, community leaders, and AI experts for a discussion on building a more equitable AI future. We'll explore how to shape tools and policies that are truly inclusive of the unique experiences of Latino and other marginalized communities and discuss how regulatory efforts can be designed to proactively prioritize justice and transparency for all.
