Meet Our New Clinic Director

Download Flyer (PDF)We are pleased to welcome Eric Coughlin PT, MSPT, OCS as the new Clinic Director for Redmond Physical Therapy beginning Janurary 1, 2013.

Eric has over 10 years of clinical experience and has been working with TAI in Central Oregon at our Bend location since 2002.

Former director Karen Walz PT, MA, OCS, FAAOMPT will still be treating patients at one of our clinics in Bend, however has decided to step down as Director to spend more time following her passion of clinical research and mentoring.

About Eric Coughlin PT, MSPT, OCS

Eric Coughlin PT, MSPT, OCSEric grew up in Vermont, the ‘Green Mountain State’, displaying a strong work ethic and making use of all the natural resources that were available to him. He graduated from Boston University in 2002 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy and one year later moved to Oregon to pursue his career and continue his recreational pursuits. He has found a home in Oregon and for the last nine years has worked for Therapeutic Associates Bend Physical Therapy where he has specialized in sports medicine, post-operative rehabilitation and general orthopedics. He has training under NAIOMT, a manual therapy program, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is trained in Sportsmetrics, an ACL prevention program that has been shown to effectively reduce incidence of ACL injuries.

In his free time loves to ski, mountain bike and play soccer and last year spent significant time volunteering with Oregon Adaptive Sports at Mt Bachelor. Eric aims to treat the individual, providing effective and efficient care utilizing manual techniques, sound scientific reasoning and making the rehabilitation experience a positive one.
