Message from the Principal

Welcome to an action-packed Term 4!

Congratulations to our Year 12 students for an excellent round of exam rehearsals last week – this will stand you in good stead for the coming final set just a few weeks away!

We have celebrated Mental Health Week this week in many different ways, acknowledging the foundational role that robust mental health plays in our quality of life. Beyond Blue Ambassador Jeff Kennett was our special guest at our Years 7-12 Assembly on Friday, and participated in our Relay for Mental Health.

The Relay – taking place throughout the day on Friday – is a fantastic initiative of Journeys Precinct Leader Lucinda Malgas, and culminates in a family picnic at 5.30pm. We hope that many families will take the opportunity to join in this community celebration and show support for improving mental health in our community. Proceeds from the day will be given to Beyond Blue.

Celebration Night 2014 is on Thursday and we look forward to this whole of community event – reprising some wonderful moments during the year, and acknowledging a range of our students’ accomplishments.

Our new look Kingsnet has been well received by students and staff – we hope you like it too!

World Mental Health Day
