Saturday Worship Celebration: Come join us this as we welcome back Saturday worship with food trucks. BBQ, gourmet grilled cheese, pizza, and gelato (we hear 12-flavors) are the feature items, so stick around after service for the eats and fellowship; bring some friends along and introduce them to our church. Baptism: Considering being baptized? Click here to check out our website Baptism page. You can watch a short baptism video, then fill out a questionnaire, and one of our pastors will follow up with you. On August 12th, in The PIT, Pastor Steve and Pastor Adam will hold a baptism class for children and youth which will teach what baptism is and how to get signed up for our summer baptism (parents are invited to be with their children, but this class is not for adults). Our next Baptismal service is Sunday, August 26th, 5:00pm here at MVCC.

Churchwide Family Picnic: Immediately following our Baptism service on Sunday, August 26th at 5:00pm, we invite you to join us for our family picnic on the field behind the church. Details to come on sides and desserts, but rumor has it Pastor Adam is bringing his ginormous BBQ smoker down for the event. Hmmm. Mmmm. Save the date!

#LOVEFREDERICK Ideas Deadline: Time's a wastin' for you to submit your ideas for serving the Frederick County community as part of our #LOVEFREDERICK outreach. Remember, we'll be closing up church and taking God's Word and love to the streets of Frederick County the weekend of October 6th & 7th, so here's your chance to speak into how you'd like to serve. Just click here to fill out the form with your ideas or projects, but please do so by July 31st.

School Backpacks Turn-In: This weekend we're starting to collect school backpacks and supplies for the Urbana Food Bank; just drop them off at the table in the upper lobby. We'll also be collecting them the weekends of July 28 & 29 and August 4 & 5. This is a great opportunity to serve our community by helping those less fortunate with some tools to help kids succeed in the classroom. Questions? Lake Day Event: Mini Camp has been cancelled, but in it's place we will be doing a Lake Day Trip on Thursday, August 2nd, for High School students! MOMS Connect Registration: Sign up now online to make some great connections with other Moms of pre-schoolers for 2018-2019. We start in September and meet on the 2nd Monday of each month from 9:15-11:15am through May.  We welcome all moms and their pre-school children (ages 0-5) to join us as we explore the theme “Connected.”  A pre-school program is included. Men's Bible Study: Our 10-week video series on Psalm 119 continues Friday morning at 6:30 with part 2, followed by small group discussion. **Due to FCA Powercamp activities, we will meet this week in The PIT. Come a bit early for coffee, donuts, and "the occasional breakfast burrito". All men are welcome.
