Winter is a magical season in the maritime regions of Québec. The sky is a brilliant blue, a blanket of snow brightens the landscape, and the St. Lawrence is covered in ice. The cold season is also a perfect time to enjoy a host of fun outdoor activities.

What to do in our regions this winter

Head out to play in the national parks of Bic, Lac-Témiscouata, Gaspésie or Fjord-du-Saguenay! A wide selection of winter activities awaits you.

Stay at the Gîte du Mont-Albert, a 4-star hotel that is world renowned for gourmet cuisine and a mountain setting.

Participate in the 15th edition of the TDLG on Skis in Gaspésie from January 21 to 29, 2017. An all-inclusive winter sports cruise has been organized to mark this occasion.

Cross the St. Lawrence aboard the MV F.-A.-Gauthier between Matane (Gaspésie) and Baie-Comeau or Godbout (Côte-Nord). Once on board, enjoy a meal in the new bistro or soak up the view from one of the panoramic lounges.

Hit the slopes in Murdochville with Chic-Chac. On the agenda: skiing, snowboarding, catskiing, heliskiing and more!

From February 26 to March 11, 2017, observe baby seals in their natural habitat on the ice surrounding the Îles de la Madeleine, a truly unique experience!

Enjoy many different winter activities at the Ferme 5 Étoiles holiday resort, including snowmobiling, dogsledding, ice fishing and snowshoeing. Then spend the night at the inn or in a cottage or yurt.

Spend a night in Eastern Québec’s largest log inn at Domaine Valga, in the heart of an old-growth maple stand. The site is also a snowmobile clubhouse.

Enjoy your winter!
