Photo Contest -- "On Campus this week..."

Since pretty much everyone upright and breathing on campus has a smartphone capable of generating a decent photo, we've decided to challenge you to take some pictures that show and tell  about what is happening on campus in any given week.

The  basic concept is simple: Some very interesting things happen here -- in labs, classrooms, rehearsal halls, onstage, 'backstage' or above the stage, at events, sports games, etc...  Snap and share! Images will be selected and posted on a U of L  photo gallery on the UNews website. All employees and students are eligible to participate.

To provide amodest encouragement, one lucky person  each week will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card, courtesy of  Starbucks and Aramark.

Please e-mail your images to robert.cooney@uleth.ca, along with  some details about the photo. We may need to contact you to confirm some factual information, so please make sure your images are suitable for public distribution and that you include an e-mail address and text message/telephone number. Good luck!
