iStart New Zealand

Hi there,

Sweating your enterprise software assets is apparently coming to an end for many local businesses, according to a survey of 261 senior A/NZ executives, with a staggering two out of three saying their organisations are planning to overhaul their enterprise software.

The predicted ‘tidal wave’ of spend also comes with a warning of a major shift in buying power – and the potential for integration challenges – according to the IBRS study (commissioned, it should be noted, by ASX-listed software provider TechnologyOne).

In other news this week:

  • Apple gets the pip in face of landmark Appstore lawsuit
  • Social media platform companies pledge action (we think!)
  • Extending reality has a dark side – are brainwaves next?
  • Agtech buddies up with Spacetech... and Airbus
  • Beyond seat of your pants decision making

Enjoy the read,

Christchurch call gets a response – but is it all just virtue signalling?…

Anti-terroism actions by social media platforms

The social media platforms who signed up to the Christchurch Call have (allegedly) now committed to corrective actions in a nine step pledge.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

Hardening our hunches

Intuition often breeds innovation, but so too does data…

Innovation

When we think of some of the world’s most enigmatic leaders and entrepreneurs, there’s an image of a person in tune with their own intuition.
