Your Residents Already Have Photo IDs on their BuildingLink App!

Wouldn’t you love to have one less thing to do when preparing for the possible strike by Local 32BJ on April 20th?

Scratch “print resident ID cards” off your to-do list: your residents already have an electronic ID in their pockets with the BuildingLink resident app! (Available for iOS and Android.)

RESIDENT IDs—DONE!

  • Tell your residents to download and log in to the resident app
  • From there, your residents can simply tap on the “Resident ID” link, displaying their ID screen (showing their name, building, mgmt co.)
  • The ID screen will also display a photo of your resident if you have uploaded one to their resident profile (either via the management website or the GEO app):

 

Print Resident ID Cards

For residents without the Resident App,  your property can alternatively print hard-copy ID cards on Avery label business card sheets, and distribute them to your non-tech residents. Contact support@buildinglink.com for instructions.

 

Additional Strike Suggestions

Use the Front Desk Instructions Module in BuildingLink

Ask residents to update their permission-to-enter instructions, including photos of household staff that may come or go during the strike (dog walkers, housekeepers, etc.).
