I am announcing my decision to retire after more than 23 years as President and CEO of CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. Reaching this decision has been both easy and difficult.

On behalf the Board of Directors of CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership, I am announcing the retirement of Dr. James Gardner and the opening of an international search for a new President and CEO of CQL.
The President and Chief Executive Officer is a dynamic leader with knowledge/experience in the evolving world of long-term human services and the changing needs of individuals with disabilities, people with mental illness, people with substance use disorder and older adults. The President and CEO leads the strategic vision and direction of the organization.
