Greetings packet surfers! This month saw the release of CloudShark 2.5, and some handy discoveries with packet capture in Windows. Also, be sure to give us your feedback for the 2015 CloudShark Roadmap Survey!
Our latest release, CloudShark 2.5, adds some powerful features including HTTP object export and viewing, our endpoints summary with geolocation via GeoIP, and the ability to decrypt wireless traffic using a pre-shared key or passphrase.
As many know, we like to incorporate customer requests into our roadmap often. That's why we want to ask you: what do you think of CloudShark? What are the key features you'd like to see next? This simple survey (14 questions!) will help us get a better idea of how you see CloudShark, how you use it in your daily work, and what we can do to make it even better.
Yes, indeed, Windows 8 includes native packet capture, and you can easily integrate it with CloudShark!
This feature can be found using the netsh command. When combined with the Microsoft Message Analyzer package, you can extract the pcap data from netsh log files and upload to CloudShark.
